raised emboss design of the iconic Urbana, il house from the original cover on metallic silver foiled stock. text logo has a 10% hit of white.
25th anniversary edition
inside gatefold features the original, unedited photo of the house, printed in transparent CMYK to let the metallic texture shine through. Booklet includes a forward from matt lunsford and handwritten lyrics from mike kinsella.
lp1 (covers)
outer jacket is designed around the concept of a window, with a sheet of plastic covering the holes of the diecut design.
upon pulling out the sleeve, the tracklist, and credits are shown, revealing the contributing artists.

The band provided a photo taken by them of the eyes from a beauty supply store. i hand-illustrated the eyes, but “spaced out so it looks unnatural”.

DESIGNS WERE INSPIRED BY THE COLORS AND LAYOUT OF THE MADRE MEZCAL LABEL. ALL ITEMS WERE CONCEPTUALIZED AND DESIGNED.
